1ST AUTUMN CONVENTION
The A.A and Al-Anon Convention Committee wish to extend a very warm fellowship and Cyprus welcome to all our guests attending this our 1st Cyprus Protaras Autumn Convention - Friday 30th October to Sunday 1st of November 2026.
We hope you enjoy our program of events and activities, and we actively encourage you to get to know us and each other in the true spirt of A.A. and Al-Anon fellowship.
The committee will be here throughout the convention and will be happy to answer any convention related questions or queries that you may have. Please don’t hesitate to stop one of us and say hello we can be easily recognized as we will be wearing lanyards with yellow card inserts.
All of our A.A. and Al-Anon meetings will be open to both A.A. and Al-Anon guests The A.A. shared platform meetings will have 3 guest A.A. speakers and 1 guest Al-Anon speaker, the other A.A. meetings will have 4 guest A.A. speakers.
Al-Anon meetings will also have guest speakers and if time allows, we will invite speakers from the floor in all the A.A. and Al-Anon meetings.
We will not be collecting tradition 7 contributions in the meetings but there will be a gratitude pot on the top table for anyone wishing to make an additional contribution

What to expect
A.A. MEETINGS
All of our A.A. meetings will be open to both A.A. and Al-Anon guests. The A.A. shared platform meetings will have 3 guest A.A. speakers and 1 guest Al-Anon speaker, the other A.A. meetings will have 4 guest speakers and if time allows, we will invite shares from the floor in all the meetings.
ENTERTAINMENT
Fellowship and Singalong (Friday Evening).
Join us for an informal group singalong accompanied by fellowship members providing the music.
Disco (Saturday Evening).
Join us to dance away the evening to our fellowship disco playing a variety of musical hits we will all recognize.
Raffle tickets will be on sale at the registration desk (See Program).
All raffle monies received will be paid out in cash prizes.
AL-ANON MEETINGS
All of our Al-Anon meetings will be open to both A.A. and Al-Anon guests.
Al-Anon meetings will also have guest speakers and if time allows, we will invite shares from the floor in all the meetings.
YOGA
The yoga class will be suitable for all levels of expertise - from complete beginner to advance. The class will consist of movement (asanas), breathwork and shavasana (short meditation). Through the class, students will be encouraged to feel their bodies and observe. ​
The teacher has practiced yoga for more than 25 years and has over 1000 hours of teacher trainings.
Teacher is also trauma informed
SERVICE WORKSHOP
Join us to listen to two speakers giving their experience of service in both our fellowships and then shares from the floor to try to encourage other members into service at group – intergroup – region
SPIRITUAL MEDITATION
Join us in the hotel gardens to watch the Cyprus sunrise whilst meditating and improving our conscious contact with our higher power guided by a fellowship member who will also share on the spirituality of our program.

BEACH
Konnos Bay is the beach located below the hotel. Voted as one of the top beaches on the island, it is a sure delight for beach goers and the best place to spend your beach holidays.
Beach buggy service every hour to Konnos Bay and back.
Sunbeds and umbrellas are available at Konnos Bay along with our hotel's kiosk which serves snacks and refreshments.
Mike's Watersports, which is a privately owned company that has been dealing with the guests of GRECIAN PARK HOTEL for many years, will keep you entertained with their various water sports activities.
SWIMMING POOLS
Our lagoon-style outdoor pool is a splash of coolness whilst enjoying the summer heat! Our pool attendants will ensure that your sunbeds and umbrellas are ready for you and of course, our pool bar will be able to compliment your day with refreshments and snacks.
Pool towels can be collected by the Olympus Health Club reception. Our pool/beach towels and our sunbeds and umbrellas are offered free of charge to our hotel guests.
Our indoor pool can be found in the Olympus Health Club. Enjoy a relaxing swim or relish in the jacuzzi just next to it. A small children's pool is also available.
